The 3

Let us tell you a little about ourselves…

Attackin’ – Boston die-hard. Love the Sox. Love the Celtics. Huge Bruins Fan. DO NOT LIKE THE PATRIOTS. I am a New York Giants fan. It’s a long story, maybe I’ll get into it some time. Not now, though. Oh yeah… and I live and die for Mizzou. I bleed Black & Gold. I literally have Tiger Blood. Duh, winning! So yeah, I love sports. I could play golf every day for the rest of my life and be happy. March Madness is like a second Christmas to me. Big music fan as well. The Dave Matthews Band is my number 1, 2 and 3. Also a big fan of the likes of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matt Wertz, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, etc. Movies are just as awesome, and going to the theater is a personal hobby. And what would life be like without food and beer. Two of my hands-down favorite things. Food… beer. End of story.

Thundaa – Chicago guy. Love the (White) Sox. Love the Bulls. Big Blackhawks fan. DO LIKE THE BEARS. I am a Bears fan. It’s not a long story; I won’t get into it sometime. Anyway, I, like my counterparts love sports. Basketball is my main game, but basically if it’s a game played with a ball, I’m at least mildly interested in it. When I’m not consuming whatever ESPN is pumping out on the internet, TV, or radio, I’m probably listening to music. I love hip-hop and R&B. Jay-Z is like Michael Jordan, by the way. The Greatest of All Time. I also really enjoy stupid humor, in my movies and my television. Here’s some other stuff I like: whiskey, hats, nachos, skinny ties, beer, cigars, leather couches, smush-face dogs, books by Kurt Vonnegut, pizza, luxurious linens, and that satisfying feeling you get after a good stretch. I’m also way cooler and smarter and more attractive than my friends. Heh…just kidding. (Or am I?)

The Jimmer – Chicago guy as well. We’re all pretty much obsessed with sports around here, but it might be safe to say I’m most so. That’s definitely true when it comes to college football. I buy literally 6-10 preview magazines every summer and read them all cover-to-cover. Yeah. I also spent roughly 13 straight hours every Saturday last fall watching every college football game on TV. Saying that now, I almost wish I was joking. But I’m not. That’s how hard I love college football. Other things I love? The Cubbies, DAAAA BEARRRRSSSSSSSSS, the Bulls, Hawks, the University of Michigan, soccer, and basically any sport out there. Oh, and THE MISSOURI TIGERS! If it’s sports, I’m there. One big thing that helps me in my effort to dunk myself in a vat of sports knowledge every day is the fact that I just got a job as an Online Sports Editor. So basically I have to watch sports now, right? I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t. Ok I like sports. You got that by now. I hope. I’m also in love with movies (I’ve seen over 1,000 and own over 400). Best movie of all time? Casablanca. Hands down. My favorite movie? The Empire Strikes back. Unreal. I’ve seen it like 200 times (no joke) and I could watch it every day for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. I LOVE Star Wars. Also love music and going to concerts, especially Dave Matthews Band shows with my boy Attackin’. He awoke a beast within me – I’d say I’m about as close as you can realistically get to him in terms of being obsessed with DMB. But make no mistake, he’s in a league of his own there. Besides DMB, I’m really into Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disturbed, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Lucky Boys Confusion and a whole lot of other stuff. Also love good whiskey and/or scotch, grilling, building things with my own hands (runs in the family – my grandfather was a very good carpenter among other things), I love arguing (thought about being a lawyer for a while), I love weightlifting, and basically doing anything competitive. I also love (most) NBC comedies, The West Wing, Charlie Sheen, dirty ass frat hats, stupid/inappropriate/dirty humor, South Park, Patton Oswalt, Jon Stewart, Alfred Hitchcock, and the first really nice day of spring. I also love my family, my great friends and my girlfriend more than anything. All of them mean the world to me and I’m really glad I got to know them over the past few years of my life and, thanks to the wonders of modern technology, stay in touch with them for a long time to come… Alright, enough sappy crap, pass me a beer and let’s talk sports.
